The Royals struggled against the Stampede 6-1 in home game

The Roc City Royals' defense had a poor night, allowing the Oswego Stampede 30 shots throughout the game. The Oswego Stampede took the lead before the halfway point in the first on a goal from Will Walker and never looked back.

Josh Watterson delivered for his team with 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist) and Dylan Gulick did his part, adding 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

In the first, Wallace opened the scoring for Oswego with a goal at 4:03 with a helper from defenseman Zarragoitia. Walker put in what turned out to be the game winning goal at 10:48 with helpers from his linemates, Gulick and Watterson.

In the second period, Watterson netted a goal at 4:18 with an assist from defenseman Forsythe. Norris quickly followed with a goal at 5:01 with helpers from his teammates Phillips and Lombardo. Gulick answered for the Stampede with a goal at 9:50 with an assist from defenseman Zarragoitia. Watterson put in a goal at 12:31 with a helper from his linemate Cannon.

During the third, Lamotte Stokes scored a goal at 5:26 with assists from Hart and Cauchi.

This loss brings the Roc City Royals’ record to (0-2-0-0).
